Solana Holland and Solana Group
Solana Holland is part of the Solana Group. Solana is represented by its own organisations in ten countries and has representatives in a further 25 countries. This means that we know the regional markets well and can advise local partners personally. Solana manages its own farms in Germany and Poland and produces seed potatoes there.

2024 Den Hartigh becomes Solana Holland
2014 Granola is ‘Potato of the Year’ and Den Hartigh becomes a subsidiary of Solana Group.

1975 Breeding and selection company IJsselmeerpolders is established to supply the market with new potato varieties with resistances.
1960 Den Hartigh specializes in breeding and trading seed potatoes.
1936 J. den Hartigh founded family business in Broek op Langedijk. The company is mainly concerned with the export and trade of fruit and vegetables.
